We are looking for a Storage Administrator for a hybrid project in Lisbon, with an estimated start date of 1 December 2026. This is a replacement for an existing resource, with an expected duration of 60 months.

About the Role

You will be responsible for managing the storage and SAN equipment of a large telecommunications infrastructure environment. The role covers the management, installation and operation of enterprise storage and SAN platforms, with strong integration with the operating systems that consume them.

The ideal candidate is committed, rigorous and a strong team player. You make decisions with confidence and get things done. Participation in an on-call (prevention) rotation is required.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage, install and operate Storage equipment from DELL, EMC, Fujitsu and Huawei, and Brocade/Broadcom SAN.
  • Configure block and NAS storage (CIFS, NFS, iSCSI, S3, etc.).
  • Integrate storage with operating systems, namely VMware, Windows, AIX, HP-UX, Solaris and RHEL.
  • Participate in the on-call (prevention) rotation.


Requirements

  • Storage and backup solutions (EMC, Clariion, VNX, SUN or similar).
  • Virtualisation solutions: VMware / Microsoft.
  • IP networking.
  • Operating systems: HP-UX, MS Windows Server, AIX, Solaris and Linux.
  • Solutions with VMAX.
  • Solutions with Compellent.
  • Solutions with Huawei.
  • Mastery of block and NAS configurations (CIFS, NFS, iSCSI, S3, etc.).
  • Mastery of integrations with operating systems (VMware, Windows, AIX, HP-UX, Solaris, RHEL).
  • Availability for on-call (prevention)
