Service Software QA Test Automation Engineer

In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the quality and reliability of software products by designing, developing, and executing comprehensive test plans and automated test suites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases and test scripts based on product requirements and technical specifications.
  
• Ensure effective execution of testing activities following testing strategies, best practices and quality standards.
  
• Conduct functional, regression, integration, system, performance and user acceptance testing (UAT) across multiple platforms and environments.
  
• Identify, document, track and retest defects using bug tracking tools while collaborating closely with development teams.
  
• Develop, maintain and enhance automated test suites and frameworks integrated into CI/CD pipelines.
  
• Explore and establish test automation frameworks and scripting standards.
  
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for QA processes, tools and methodologies.
  
• Assist with test environment setup and test data management.
  
• Provide structured test reports covering functional and non-functional testing results.
  
• Troubleshoot and resolve test automation pipeline issues.
  

Requirements

Mandatory Skills

• Strong understanding of Software QA methodologies, tools and processes.
  
• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright.
  
• Experience testing APIs.
  
• Experience with Atlassian Application Lifecycle Management tools (JIRA and Confluence).
  
• Knowledge of performance testing and metrics visualization.
  

Preferred Skills

• Proficiency in Python and TypeScript for test scripting and framework development.
  
• Familiarity with MongoDB for data validation.
  
• Understanding of CI/CD processes and Git-based workflows.
  
• Experience developing and maintaining automated test frameworks.
