Senior Integration / Enterprise Architect

We are looking for Senior Integrations Architect, fully remote.

You will lead the design and implementation of advanced solutions that drive our client's technology evolution. You will be instrumental in crafting scalable and secure architectures that meet complex business needs while ensuring high performance and reliability.

This position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, technical leadership, and a keen focus on transforming business objectives into technical solutions. You will guide the architectural vision and be a key player in stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

Design & Architect: Design and document complex integration architectures, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and align with enterprise standards.
Platform Leadership: Lead the design and evolution of core Integration and Data platforms, serving as the technical authority for these foundational systems.
Modernization: Architect and oversee projects to redesign and replace legacy integrations, transitioning them to modern, event-driven, or API-based solutions.
Microservices Governance: Lead the design and development of integration microservices, defining architectural patterns and best practices for their creation and management.
Strategic Vision: Define the overall Enterprise Architecture Strategy and ensure its consistent application through architectural governance.
Technical Guidance: Act as a technical leader and Subject Matter Expert for integration technologies, providing guidance to development teams and resolving complex technical challenges.
Innovation & Compliance: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, propose innovative solutions, and ensure all designs comply with security, regulatory, and business continuity standards.

Requirements

8 years Enterprise Architecture and design of infrastructure solutions, in the retail industry
8 years Layered Architecture
8 years Backend Development languages, database technologies, frontend development languages (e.g. TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS), and technology architecture (e.g. integration, network, and security)
8 years AWS or Azure, with experience in designing and deploying cloud-based solutions
8 years Developing enterprise-wide disaster recovery and business continuity plans, ensuring architectural resilience and compliance
8 years TOGAF or similar frameworks and experience in applying these to real-world projects
8 years Solution modelling languages such as UML, ArchiMate, and C4
8 years in programming, software development, DevOps, CI/CD, and containerisation
6 years of security practices, data protection, and regulatory compliance
