The job is focused on data integration. In this role, it is expected to have good hands-on skills in data integration, data structures, database design, and the necessary knowledge of data architecture solutions. It is also expected to have good knowledge of Azure data integration, data-related services, and Power BI reporting.​

The ideal candidate for this position should have the following skills and competencies: 
  • Design comprehensive architecture solutions that encompass both business and technical aspects.
  • Create architectural diagrams and documentation to facilitate understanding within technical teams.
  • Guide and oversee the development team throughout the implementation phase to ensure solutions align with the architecture.
  • Ensure adherence to best practices (robust, secure and scalable integrations) and security protocols within the solution architecture.
  • Ability to teach other developers how to develop processes for distributed environments

To deliver the above competences, we value candidates with a skillset and experience covering:
  • Understanding of collaborative data-sharing models, including data domains, data products, access governance, and cross-team data integration practices
  • Ability to ensure APIs follow security, performance, and reliability standards
  • Experience in Power BI Premium workspaces
  • Experience in agile IT, e.g. SAFE or SCRUM methodology
  • Experience in the design and architecture of Cloud-based Data Platforms (e.g., Data Lake, Data Warehouse, Data Mesh).
  • Expertise in architecting high-volume, scalable data pipelines, focusing on Data Integration, Ingestion, and Transformation patterns (Batch, Real-time/Streaming).
  • Proven ability to bridge business requirements with technical data architecture and clearly articulate the trade-offs between design choices (e.g., cost vs. performance).
  • Expert knowledge in selecting, designing, and optimizing core Azure Data Services, specifically: Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2, and Azure Event Hubs/Stream Analytics.
  • Experience in designing data interfaces and APIs for consumption and ingestion, ensuring seamless connectivity between various source and target systems.
  • Ability to integrate Data Governance, Security, and Access Controls (RBAC) into the architectural blueprint for the entire platform.
  • Comprehensive experience in selecting and designing appropriate data persistence technologies (e.g., Azure SQL DB, Azure Cosmos DB, PostgreSQL) based on specific use case requirements (OLTP vs. OLAP, NoSQL vs. Relational).
  • Experience developing visual reports, KPI scorecards, and dashboards using Power BI desktop.
  • Experience Connecting data sources, importing data, and transforming data for Business intelligence.
  • Experience with Azure data related components, such as Cosmos DB, Azure Synapse, Azure Private End Points, Azure Storage Queues.

You should have analytical skills, willingness to learn and adopt new technologies, also should have experience or be familiar with an agile development methodology.
