We are looking for a Senior Business Consultant for a hybrid project in Lisbon or Porto, 2x/week.

Our Client’s team is responsible for a process migration and redefinition initiative, transitioning from IBM BAW to Appian, with strong interaction between business and technical teams.

The role requires a Senior Consultant with a business focus, capable of working on process analysis, redesign, and implementation support within the banking/financial services sector.

Requirements

Experience & Knowledge

4–5 years of experience in business consulting
Proven experience in banking sector projects
Strong experience in process analysis and redesign, including customer journeys, ideally in banking products, channels, or operations
Experience in implementation projects involving new solutions (channels, products, platforms, or core/satellite systems)
Experience in requirements gathering and writing user stories, ensuring alignment with banking context
Experience working in technology-driven environments (BAW, BPM, low-code, or workflow platforms are a plus)
Knowledge or prior exposure to IBM BAW or Appian, or strong ability to adapt to new platforms
Experience conducting workshops and working sessions with clients, in an autonomous and structured manner
Fluent in Portuguese and English

Strong capability to collaborate with development teams
Excellent skills in structuring information and documentation
Strong ability to produce clear and executive-level presentations (PowerPoint)
