Senior AI Software Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade software solutions supporting omni-channel Customer Contact Center platforms and AI-powered services.

The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, product teams, and engineers to transform business requirements into scalable technical solutions while leveraging modern cloud technologies and emerging AI capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop innovative software solutions that support bolttech's strategic objectives.
  
• Build proof-of-concepts, prototypes, and MVPs with a strong focus on speed-to-market.
  
• Apply Agile and Lean methodologies to deliver high-quality features efficiently.
  
• Research and evaluate emerging technologies for adoption.
  
• Configure and develop solutions using AWS Connect and related AWS services.
  
• Produce technical documentation and architecture specifications.
  
• Provide production support, incident investigation, troubleshooting, and defect resolution.
  
• Integrate Generative AI capabilities into existing and future platforms.
  
• Ensure applications are scalable, secure, maintainable, and capable of supporting multi-tenant enterprise environments.
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
  

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with Node.js and React.
  
• Solid experience working with AWS cloud services and architectures.
  
• Experience with AWS Connect, Lambda, S3, SQS, SNS, API Gateway, EC2, AppSync, Kinesis, Lex, Polly, and Transcribe.
  
• Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB and DynamoDB.
  
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools including CloudFormation and Bitbucket Pipelines.
  
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.
  
• Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
  
• Experience using Git-based source control systems.
  
• Working knowledge of Agile and Lean methodologies.
  
• Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, Playwright, and Cypress.
  
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  
• General understanding of Generative AI concepts including context management, tokens, and completions.
  
• Previous experience with GenAI projects, prototypes, or proof-of-concepts is an advantage.
  
• AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect) are considered a plus.
  
• Knowledge of WebRTC technologies is a plus.
