Pre-sales Cloud Solution Architect

This profile will be integrated into the Cloud & Infrastructure Solutions Team as a pre-sales solution architect. It will support the entire sales process by participating in client meetings as a technical expert, assisting in the identification of solutions and services for our customers. Through deep product and industry knowledge, it will be expected to provide trusted expertise and vision both internally and with our customers. It will aid in the coordination of RFI, RFP, and other sales responses.
The ideal candidate will have prior customer-facing experience as well as success leading deep technical architecture and application design discussions with senior customers.
The candidate will be participating in the proposal lifecycle and collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders to develop, present, and defend bids.

As a part of your job, you will:
- Lead the sales effort for Cloud & infrastructure solutions across multiple technologies.
- Participate in and lead client calls and help qualify Persistent as an expert partner.
- Provide client facing presentations and architecture discussions.
- Collaborate with clients to identify business challenges and provide appropriate solutions.
- Drive RFP responses and coordinate with all required disciplines (sales, delivery, product management);
- Pre-sales activities through nurturing, lead generation, opportunity acceleration(up-sell/x-sell).
- Help customers accelerate digital transformation of business worldwide;
- Stay up to date on market trends and competitive insights;
- Create supporting documentation related with this role.
Requirements
- 5+ years of Cloud & infrastructure solutions experience in architecture, design, implementation, and/or support of highly distributed applications (i.e. having an architectural sense for ensuring availability, reliability, and so on);
- Deep understanding of cloud computing technologies, business drivers, emerging computing trends.
- Knowledge in AWS, Azure, GCP cloud solutions and Containers (Docker, Kubernetes or OpenShift);
- Experience developing high complexity proposals;
- Time management and planning skills;
- Graduate in business administration, sales, engineering or IT field.
- Positive influence to lead through frequent ambiguity / uncertainty / change
- Prior experience solving complex business problems with technology
- Solid organizational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking capabilities
- Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills;
- Proficiency in Portuguese and English communication (Mandatory - oral and writing);
- Proactivity, dynamism and adaptability to change.
