We are looking for a Senior PHP Developer to strengthen our team in the Social & Healthcare Unit.

You will have the opportunity to define the architecture and create from scratch a robust, accessible, reliable and safe system with the most current development technologies and methodologies (PHP 8.4, PostegreSQL, GIT), to support the management of the Application Process of the External Assessment Tests of Basic and Secondary Education, a project with high impact for society and for the development of the country.

You will be integrated in a capable and experienced team that is always ready for new challenges.
With the capacity to help and accompany new members in a friendly but professional environment.


Required Competences:


Requirements

  • +4 years of experience in software development
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or a related field, level 6 QNQ.
  • Proven experience in developing Full Stack applications in PHP (version 7 or 8)
  • Proven experience in HTML/CSS/JavaScript development.
  • Framework Mandatory: Laravel
  • Proven experience in using PostgreSQL or MySQL database (modelling data structure to ensure efficiency and optimisation, creating procedures, events, triggers, and functions).
  • Deep knowledge in OOP (Object Oriented Programming), Design Patterns, Clean Code, and PSR.
  • Experience in REST API implementation and integration.
  • Good knowledge of GIT, MVC pattern, and Agile methodology.
  • Autonomy, sense of responsibility, proactivity, and team spirit.

Preferred Competencies:
  • Experience in JavaScript. Experience in the jQuery library and/or Vue.JS framework is valued.
