We are looking for a Lead AI Platform Engineer to join an agile, collaborative team where your voice matters as much as your code.

You won't just be managing infrastructure; you'll be a technical partner and a visionary leader helping us build resilient, AI-native systems that scale. You will bridge the gap between high-level strategy with our leadership (including our CEO and COO) and the hands-on execution of our core AI platform. How You'll Contribute
  • Build & Maintain: Lead the architectural design and lifecycle of our AWS Bedrock AgentCore and Step Function ecosystem, ensuring it is secure, multi-tenant, and high-performing.
  • Enable Teams: Act as the primary bridge between Director/VP-level stakeholders and engineering teams, translating a complex AI roadmap into actionable "Internal Developer Experience" (IDP) improvements.
  • Automate Everything: Implement robust CI/CD pipelines for AI workloads, including automated model evaluations (Evals), IaC for vector databases, and seamless agent deployment.
  • Continuous Improvement: Champion "Observability for AI," leading root cause analysis for non-deterministic agent behavior and mentoring the team on how to build for reliability.


Requirements

  • Has a Growth Mindset: comfortable navigating the "detective work" of distributed systems and enjoy the challenge of making AI agents behave in production.
  • Values Collaboration: thrive in a "politics free" environment, leading by example and empowering your team rather than "bossing them around." and thrive when bridging the gap between raw LLM capabilities and production-grade software.
  • Communicates with Clarity: can explain the "why" behind an Agent/Tool Gateway or a RAG architecture to a CEO just as clearly as you can discuss the "how" with a developer.
Your Technical Toolkit:
  • Bachelor in IT or related field.
  • Cloud: Deep experience with AWS (Networking, IAM)
  • AI Core: Deep experience with AWS Bedrock AgentCore, AWS Step Functions, and building custom Agent/Tool Gateways.
  • Automation/IaC: Proficiency with Terraform, and GitHub Actions.
  • Containers: Hands-on with Kubernetes and Docker for hosting supporting microservices.
  • Developer Experience: Familiarity with Backstage and building multi-tenant platforms.
  • Security & Governance: Experience with Vault, Artifactory, and identity/policy enforcement (e.g., Cedar or OPA).
  • Observability: Familiarity with Datadog, CloudWatch, or specialized AI tracing (e.g., LangSmith).
  • Scripting: Comfortable writing in Python, Bash, or Javascript/Typescript.
  • Memory & RAG: Hands-on experience with Vector Databases (OpenSearch, Pinecone, or Milvus) and knowledge retrieval strategies.
