Junior QA

• Execute end-to-end tests on the application (front and back, across the various flows) in accordance with defined test cases.
  
• Perform exploratory testing to identify (and stress-test) unexpected behaviours, integration failures between components and external integrations, and usability issues.
  
• Collaborate with the Product Owner and the technical team to write clear and comprehensive test cases based on business requirements.
  
• Log defects clearly and completely (steps, context, evidence) and follow up on their resolution cycle.
  
• Work alongside the QA Automation Engineer, identifying which manual and exploratory tests should be converted into automated scripts.
  
• Participate in refinement sessions and demonstrations, bringing the quality and end-user perspective.
  
  

Requirements

• Must have one first experience (professional, internship or project-based) in software testing or quality assurance.
  
• Basic knowledge of software development cycles and test types (functional, regression, e2e, exploratory).
  
• Ability to follow test cases while also thinking outside the box to find undocumented or unexpected issues. Understanding of user flows and test cases.
  
• Strong written communication skills for defect description and team feedback.
  
• Basic use of tracking tools (e.g. Jira) and version control (Git).
  

• Knowledge of API testing, business flows and web application testing (browsers, dev tools, testing across environments, SQL, etc.).
  
• Good communication with development and product teams.
  
• Proactivity in identifying non-obvious test scenarios.
  
• Knowledge of payment solutions, instant payments or mission-critical financial systems.
  
• Knowledge of payment standards and formats (e.g. ISO 20022, SEPA Inst).
