Junior Developer (Liquid templating language)

As a Developer, you will be responsible for developing financial reports using Liquid templating languages and other tools to extract data into Taxing reports, as well as developing the templates themselves. This role will involve collaborating with senior developers and business analysts to create insightful reports and dashboards.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand business needs.
  • Utilize Liquid templating language to create dynamic and reusable templates for reports.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices in report development.


Requirements

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Basic experience with SQL and data querying.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Nice to have:
  • Understanding of data modeling concepts and techniques.
  • Familiarity with Liquid templating language and its applications in report generation.
  • Familiarity with common data sources (json, REST, Excel, SQL).
  • Understanding of REST APIs.
  • Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
