We are looking for a Junior Data Engineer 

A telecommunications company in Latin America is developing its Lakehouse on Oracle Cloud as part of its digital transformation strategy. The platform serves as a centralized hub for enterprise data and supports the company’s modernization initiatives.

The roadmap involves onboarding new data sources, delivering data transformation and provisioning projects using OCI infrastructure and services such as Dataflow, Data Science, AI Data Platform, and Autonomous Data Warehouse. In the future, the company also plans to incorporate Oracle’s AI capabilities through AIDP. The initiative is centered on strengthening data management, enabling business value, and preparing for AI-driven innovation.


Requirements

Requirements:
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in data projects (ingestion, transformation, and provisioning of data)
  • Proficient in Python
  • Knowledge of cloud environments (preference for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure - OCI)
  • Availability to work in Chile timezone (Portugal time 12pm - 9pm to 2pm - 11pm depending on the time of year)
Nice-to-Have Requirements:
  • In-depth knowledge of OCI services architecture
