We are looking for an experienced FinOps Practitioner to join our team in Lisbon.

The ideal candidate has a solid command of the FinOps Foundation framework and a proven track record in implementing and operating FinOps practices across cloud environments. This is a critical-priority role requiring immediate availability and a high level of autonomy.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement processes that support the FinOps practice across all three framework phases: Inform, Optimize, and Operate
  • Drive cloud cost visibility, accountability, and optimisation initiatives across the organisation
  • Collaborate with engineering, finance, and business stakeholders to embed FinOps culture and best practices
  • Monitor and report on cloud spend, usage, and efficiency metrics
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and operational improvements in cloud environments
  • Support eventual client engagements, including occasional travel abroad (1–2 times per year)

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience implementing and operating the FinOps Foundation framework
  • In-depth knowledge of the Inform, Optimize, and Operate phases of the FinOps lifecycle
  • Mandatory certification: FinOps Certified Practitioner
  • Solid experience in Cloud FinOps (Azure, AWS, GCP, or equivalent)
  • Proficiency in English (mandatory)
  • European nationality required
