DevOps Engineer

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join a high-impact engineering team building and operating scalable, cloud-native platforms.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, automating, and maintaining infrastructure and deployment pipelines, ensuring high availability, security, and performance across distributed systems. You will work closely with software engineers, platform teams, and stakeholders to improve delivery speed and system reliability.

This position requires a strong balance between cloud infrastructure, networking expertise, and software development capabilities, with a focus on modern DevOps and platform engineering practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering roles
  
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS (including networking, compute, and managed services)
  
• Proven experience managing production environments using Kubernetes
  
• Solid experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code
  
• Strong knowledge of container networking, including experience with Cilium or similar technologies
  
• Background in network administration (routing, security, connectivity, troubleshooting)
  
• Experience working in cross-functional environments, collaborating across multiple teams and platforms
  
• Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation practices
  
• Ability to develop and understand applications (e.g., Python, Go, or similar languages)
  
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability tools
  
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex distributed systems
  
• Fluent English (C1 level or higher)
  
• Must be based in Portugal
