We are hiring a Data Engineer for our internal team.

Multivision is developing SimplAI, an intelligent assistance layer integrated into Simplifyd, a platform focused on monitoring, optimisation and operation of multi-technology mobile networks (2G/3G/4G/5G).

SimplAI uses LLM/RAG technologies to support engineering teams in technical information analysis, assisted troubleshooting, interpretation of optimisation recommendations and operational contextualisation.

The solution will be integrated with real telecommunications data, internal APIs and analytical modules already existing in the Simplifyd platform.

We need you to design, implement and maintain data pipelines and processing infrastructures that support the ingestion, transformation and availability of data on the Simplifyd platform, ensuring scalability, reliability and integration with cloud services and Machine Learning models.

Your main responsabilities will be:

Develop and maintain data pipelines for ingestion, transformation and processing of data from multiple sources using DAGs in Apache Airflow.
Implement infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform on AWS.
Create and maintain APIs for data and analytical model availability.
Develop integration components between systems and cloud services.
Collaborate with the Data Science team in providing the datasets and pipelines needed for model training and execution.
Participate in defining the data architecture of the Simplifyd platform.
Implement CI/CD mechanisms for data pipelines and services.
Monitor and optimise the performance of pipelines and data processes, ensuring quality, consistency and performance.

Requirements

Strong Python knowledge: creation and maintenance of packages, dependency management via uv (or equivalent), unit testing, async/await, polars/pandas.
Experience in data pipeline development and relational databases (SQL).
Experience with Apache Airflow or equivalent orchestration tool (Prefect, Dagster, AWS Step Functions, etc.).
Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms.
Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
Experience in API creation (FastAPI, Flask or equivalent frameworks).
Knowledge of CI/CD (Bitbucket Pipelines, Github Actions or equivalent).
Knowledge of Big Data and distributed processing (preferably Spark, Athena, Apache Iceberg).
