Job description

The client is looking for an experienced SQL Server Database Administrator to join their team. This professional will be responsible for managing and optimizing databases, ensuring high availability and performance.

Main Responsibilities:

Administration of SQL Server databases (versions 2000, 2005, 2008, and 2012);
Perform Performance Tuning to optimize database performance;
Create and manage indexes to improve query efficiency;
Carry out installations, configurations, and upgrades of databases;
Configure and manage SQL Server Replication;
Implement and automate backup and restore processes using TSM;
Develop and maintain applications for database monitoring;
Work with tools and solutions such as SSIS and SSAS;
Configure and maintain high availability environments (Cluster, Mirroring, Logshipping);
Program and maintain T-SQL scripts for automation and customized queries;
Use and integrate tools such as Maximo, ITM, TSM, and ITSM.

Requirements

Proven experience in SQL Server database administration (over 5 years);
Strong knowledge of performance tuning and index creation;
Familiarity with backups, restores, and automation using TSM;
Hands-on experience with high availability and data replication;
Proficiency in SSIS and SSAS tools;
Advanced programming skills in T-SQL;
Knowledge of monitoring and management tools such as Maximo, ITM, and ITSM;
Ability to work in a team with a solution-oriented mindset;
Availability for on-call duties and overtime.
Location: Hybrid model, with presence required at the TagusPark office.
