Job description

We are looking for a Solution Architect to define and design end-to-end technology architectures across complex systems. This role ensures solutions are scalable, secure, compliant, and aligned with organizational and technical standards. This is an hybrid position to work in Lisbon or Porto. 

Responsibilities:

  • Translate business and technical requirements into clear architectural designs:
  • Produce architecture artefacts (high-level designs, component diagrams, interface specifications, ADRs);
  • Define data, integration, and API models using modern architectural patterns;
  • Ensure security-by-design, privacy-by-design, and compliance with relevant standards;
  • Provide technical guidance to delivery teams throughout the project lifecycle;
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across business, technical, and governance areas;
  • Lead architectural reviews and support decision-making with structured analysis.

Requirements

  • Experience with microservices (Java Sprintboot), APIs, event-driven or service-oriented architectures;
  • Strong background in designing distributed systems, cloud solutions, and system integrations;
  • Strong background in backend technologies, specially Java SpringBoot Proficiency with architecture modelling languages (ArchiMate, UML, BPMN, C4) Experience with microservices, APIs, event-driven or service-oriented architectures;
  • Solid understanding of identity, security frameworks, and data governance;
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills 5+ years in architecture-related roles;
  • Fluent in Portuguese.


Nice to have: 

  • Certifications (TOGAF, ArchiMate); 
  • Experience in Public Sector.
