Job description

The service provides a Solution Expert working for a solution to assure continuity in a lifecycle covering solution creation, operation and enhancement regardless of the underlying technology. The service needs to proactively challenge and improve a solution with special focus on performance, productivity and security. The service is to be provided in a trustful partnership with the Product Owner to challenge requirements from a technical perspective and assure obeyance to a Portal architectural framework.

This Portal is the cutting edge B2B portal for the company Digital Industries and Smart Infrastructure supporting our customers along their digital journey.

The main tasks identified for the service are:
- Defining the technical requirements and solution
- Support the Product Owner in gathering, evaluating, defining and priorizing demands
- Controlling the implementation in terms of time and quality
- Coordinating the needed technical experts (Architects, Information Security Officer, Data Privacy Officer, Integrators, Developers, User Experience,…)
- Test and accepting the solution.
- Contribute to the rollout out the solution e.g. by creating communication material, release notes etc.
- Evaluating alternative technical solutions
- Operating the solution (incident and change management)

The person providing the service should have the following competencies:
- Studies in Informatics, Business Informatics
- Passionate for eBusiness
- Agile development methodologies
- Experience in at least one major programming language (C#, Java, C++,…)
- Experience in at least one major database (Oracle, Microsoft,…)
- Experience in web technologies (HTML, Javascript,…)
- Ideally experience in Salesforce (Object Model, APEX, Lightning) – is a plus
- Fluent in English

- Professional experience in application management or in the support and development of individually developed solutions or standard solutions
- Cooperation in application development projects as well as in topic and module support
- Experience in the technical management of service providers
