Senior Data Engineer / Architect

• Lead the design and development of advanced data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and storage of OSS data (alarms, KPIs, inventory, service quality, etc.).
  
• Define and evolve the data architecture strategy for real-time and batch analytics in OSS domains, including service assurance, fault management, and performance analytics.
  
• Act as a technical authority and mentor for junior engineers, guiding them on best practices, data modeling, and optimization strategies.
  
• Collaborate with network engineering, solution architects, and operations teams to identify business-critical use cases and translate them into robust data solutions.
  
• Ensure data governance, security, and quality standards are met across all systems and data flows.
  
• Design and support visualization solutions and dashboards for operational and executive-level insights.
  
• Partner with AI/ML teams to enable real-time and batch data streams to feed ML models or train them.
  
• Serve as a bridge between technical execution and strategic planning, engaging with stakeholders across engineering, IT, and operations.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field.
  
• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, ideally within telecom or OSS-related domains.
  
• Expert in SQL, Python, and data processing frameworks like Apache Spark, Kafka, or Flink.
  
• Deep understanding of telecom network architecture and OSS systems (e.g., fault/performance management, inventory, NMS).
  
• Proficient with cloud data platforms (AWS, GCP) and big data ecosystems.
  
• Demonstrated experience in architecting and delivering complex data solutions at scale.
  

• Ability to adapt to different contexts, teams, and Clients;
  
• Teamwork skills but also a sense of autonomy;
  
• Motivation for international projects and ok if travel is included;
  
• Willingness to collaborate with other players;
  
• Strong communication skills.
