Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Cybersecurity Architect to own and evolve client's security architecture strategy and operating model.
This role serves as the senior security design authority, responsible for defining secure-by-design reference architectures, standards, patterns, and guardrails that engineering teams adopt by default. The position focuses on architecture leadership, threat modeling, security design decisions, and AI-era security challenges rather than traditional compliance-driven activities.
The successful candidate will work closely with Security Engineering, AI Security, IAM, Cloud Security, Product Security, and executive stakeholders to establish a scalable, resilient, and future-proof cybersecurity architecture across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Define, maintain, and evolve enterprise security architecture standards and reference architectures.
- Establish secure-by-design patterns, paved roads, and security guardrails across cloud, infrastructure, identity, application, and data domains.
- Act as the senior escalation point for security architecture decisions and high-risk design reviews.
- Lead threat modeling exercises for critical systems, platforms, APIs, AI components, and business processes.
- Design defense-in-depth security architectures aligned with modern cloud and AI-enabled environments.
- Drive adoption of security automation, policy-as-code, DevSecOps practices, and AI-assisted security reviews.
- Maintain architecture decision records, exceptions, and governance processes.
- Translate incidents, emerging threats, and industry developments into architectural improvements.
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to security and engineering teams.
- Support customer assurance and trust initiatives through architecture documentation and security narratives.
- Collaborate with AI Security teams to address emerging AI and agentic system risks.
- Contribute to the long-term cybersecurity strategy and roadmap.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Information Security.
- Extensive experience in Security Architecture and Secure-by-Design methodologies.
- Proven track record defining enterprise-scale security reference architectures and standards.
- Strong expertise across cloud security, application security, infrastructure security, IAM, networking, and data protection.
- Experience conducting threat modeling and architecture risk assessments.
- Strong knowledge of cloud-native security services and modern security tooling.
- Experience with DevSecOps, CI/CD security, policy-as-code, and automation frameworks.
- Strong understanding of AI-related security risks and governance frameworks.
- Familiarity with AI security concepts including:

- Deep understanding of security frameworks including:

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive architectural decisions across global teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- CISSP, CISM, or CCSP certifications.
- AWS Certified Security – Specialty.
- Microsoft AZ-500 certification.
- Experience building or maturing enterprise security architecture functions.
- Experience operating within large multinational organizations.
- Exposure to AI-assisted security design and review platforms.
- Knowledge of agentic AI architectures and secure AI development practices.
