Job description

We are hiring a Senior Cloud Engineer for a project in Lisbon. You will be part of the UX Platform team. 

This team builds and maintains the foundational tools and infrastructure that support UX development across all feature teams.
Their responsibilities include:

  • Creating reusable components, design systems, and development frameworks.
  • Managing cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS with CDK) to support scalable UX delivery.
  • Enabling CI/CD pipelines and developer tooling for faster iteration.
  • Ensuring platform stability, performance, and security.

In the first 6 months there might the need to go to the client office 3x/week. 
After 6months, only 1x/week is needed. 

Your Key Responsibilities will be:
  • Design and implement scalable cloud infrastructure using AWS, with a strong focus on AWS CDK.
  • Develop backend services using an object-oriented language (preferably Java or Python).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support platform development and feature delivery.
  • Ensure cloud solutions are secure, maintainable, and cost-effective.
  • Participate in code reviews, CI/CD processes, and infrastructure automation.



Requirements

  • Proven experience with AWS, especially AWS CDK.
  • Strong development background in object oriented languages (preference for Java or Python) 
  • Solid understanding of cloud architecture and infrastructure-as-code principles.
  • Hands-on experience in software development (operations-only profiles will not be considered).
  • Solid B2 level of English (spoken and written).
