Job description

      Our Software Engineering team is looking for a Senior Cloud & Integration Operations Engineer with extensive experience operating and administering AWS and on-premises infrastructures, business-critical applications, and enterprise integration platforms. The successful candidate will bring strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation, Linux, Ansible, Python, and AWS CloudFormation to provision, maintain, and continuously improve complex system landscapes. Hands-on experience operating middleware technologies such as Apache Camel, JBoss, Quarkus, and Apache Web Server is essential, together with comprehensive knowledge of web services, SFTP, OpenFT, OIDC, and TLS/SSL.


Key responsibilities:
  • Operate and administer AWS and on-premises infrastructure, ensuring the stability, security, availability, and service quality of business-critical systems.
  • Provision, maintain, and continuously improve complex system landscapes using Infrastructure as Code and automation, particularly Ansible, Python, and AWS CloudFormation.
  • Operate and support middleware and integration platforms, including Apache Camel, JBoss, Quarkus, and Apache Web Server.
  • Manage and troubleshoot enterprise integrations using web services, SFTP, OpenFT, OIDC, and TLS/SSL certificatebased security mechanisms.
  • Monitor infrastructure, applications, interfaces, and integration services, proactively identifying and resolving outages, performance issues, and operational risks.
  • Lead incident investigation, troubleshooting, and structured root cause analysis, implementing sustainable corrective and preventive actions.
  • Collaborate with application development, infrastructure, security, and business teams to maintain reliable, secure, and performant environments.
  • Manage operational and development activities using agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban, supported by Jira


Requirements

Mandatory:

  • Senior Level - Strong hands-on experience with Ansible, Python, and AWS CloudFormation
  • Senior Level - Experience operating middleware and integration platforms, particularly Apache Camel, JBoss, Quarkus, and Apache Web Server
  • Senior Level - Comprehensive knowledge of enterprise integration technologies, including web services, SFTP, and OpenFT
  • Senior Level - Strong understanding of secure authentication and certificate-based security mechanisms, including OIDC and TLS/SSL
  • Senior Level - Proven experience in system monitoring, incident management, troubleshooting, and structured root cause analysis
  • Senior Level - Ability to independently manage complex operational environments and take end-to-end ownership of technical solutions
  • Senior Level - Experience ensuring the stability, security, availability, and service quality of mission-critical systems and integration platforms
  • Senior Level - Proficiency in agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban, and the use of Jira
  • Senior Level - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field

Nice to Have:

  • Senior Level - Experience with high-availability and business-continuity practices for enterprise platforms
  • Senior Level - Experience implementing monitoring improvements, operational automation, and preventive controls
  • Senior Level - Knowledge of AWS security, access control, networking, and infrastructure optimization practices
  • Senior Level - Experience supporting deployment and release activities across multiple environments
  • Senior Level - Excellent technical documentation and stakeholder communication skills
