Job description

We are looking for an experienced SAP Basis Consultant.

The service to be provided is focused on adding SAP Basis capacity to an in-house Team.

The scope of the consultant is to support different systems in Siemens Landscape (ECC, S/4HANA, Solution Manager, MDG…) and therefore she/he will:
• Support and manage technical projects like SP, EHP and DB upgrades, archive migration, system copies and other SAP Basis activities
• Work on Security topics like protection concepts, SAML authentication, certificate-based authentication, security violations, hardening, patch management, security measure plans
• Take responsibility in SAP Basis areas like archiving, monitoring, troubleshooting, SAP SNC, transport mgmt. with STMS and CHaRM
• Support and operate Linux based applications and tools
• Interface Management knowledge and maintenance

Requirements

We will give preference to providers that demonstrate competences in:

• SAP Basis area, ideally already know-how in S/4HANA (5+ Years)

• Certificate management, basic understanding of shell scripting and ABAP

• Agile IT, e.g. SAFE or SCRUM methodology

• Willingness to understand business processes

Consultants to be assigned by provider must have good COMMUNICATION SKILLS in an international environment, must be PROACTIVE and must have the ability to WORK AUTONOMOUSLY. It is also mandatory for consultants to be business-fluent in the English language (speaking and writing).
