Job description

We are looking for a Release Manager to participate and coordinate all the releases on the scope.
Before deployment, this person needs to ensure documentation is complete and correct.
During the releases, this person will do the technical tasks for the release that are on the scope of the production team.
After the release its responsibility to ensure the tests are done with success.
ITIL processes and internal change process needs to be respected all the way.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Deployment of IRP applicational releases on Pre-production and production environments
  • Participation on technical activities (migrations/ DRP/ Patching)
  • Participation on MAC server deployments
  • Preparation of deployment Documentation
  • Verification and validation of Documentation prepared.
  • Coordination with Development team
  • Ensure daily communication & data quality with production support teams and development teams
  • Habilitations authorization and configuration on IRP applications
  • Participation on CAB meeting
  • Follow Change/release management based on ITIL guidelines
  • Comply with ITIL standards and Securities Services rules.
  • Availability to work out of office hours/on weekends/bank holidays
  • Define and prepare KPIs





                                                                                                      


Requirements


Technical skills:

  • First class Graduate in any discipline (Computer Science preferred) from a reputed university
  • At least 2 year working experience with Linux and its standard commands using Command line. (mandatory)
  • At least 2 year working experience with Sybase/SQL. (mandatory)
  • Basic knowledge of DataStage TX (desirable)
  • Basic Ansible knowledge (mandatory)
  • Basic MAC knowledge (desirable)
  • At least 2 years’ experience in a similar position (mandatory)
  • General IT infrastructure knowledge
  • Good understanding of the ITIL norm especially Incident, Change and Request Management and practices (desirable)
  • Experience and ability to perform technical analysis, identify impacts (functional/technical)
  • Measure and identify areas for improving Quality and overall Delivery.

Soft Skills:
  • Professional English (candidate should be able to conduct the interview in English)
