INTERNATIONAL POSITION – RAN OPTIMIZATION ENGINEER (ERICSSON)

Location: Luanda, Angola and Lisbon, Portugal

RESPONSIBILITIES

Analyze and resolve critical issues in multitechnology RAN networks (2G/3G/4G/VoLTE/5G) from Ericsson.
Identify and implement radio features focusing on performance, spectral efficiency, and user experience.
Conduct optimizations based on KPIs, drive tests, and L3 signaling analysis.
Support the launch of new services and technologies with an integrated network perspective.
Work closely with the local team, promoting practical knowledge transfer.
Contribute to process improvements focused on automation and optimization tools.

Requirements

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

Solid experience (minimum 8 years) with Ericsson RAN networks (2G to 5G).
Proficiency in OSS/ENM, KPI analysis, counters, and fault management.
Expertise in TEMS Investigation/Discovery or equivalent drive test tools
Strong skills in analyzing logs and L3 messages for advanced troubleshooting.
Ability to share technical knowledge in a collaborative environment
Fluency in Portuguese and ability to read technical documentation in English.

NICE TO HAVE

Participation in international projects or deployment of new technologies.
Knowledge in automation applied to radio engineering (scripting, Python, etc.).
Experience in parameter tuning, advanced features, and Massive MIMO.
