We are looking for a Product Owner for a project at our client.

You will be part of the BI Platform Team, that creates the foundation for data-driven decisions. With our modern decentralized data architecture and platform services, from raw data and self-service to machine learning and visual analytics, we enable business departments to use data efficiently, flexibly, and responsibly.

For the development of our client group-wide Marketing & Sales Data Product, we are looking for a Business Data Product Owner.

The goal is to make the success of marketing and sales activities transparently measurable across the full customer journey, from campaigns and leads to opportunities, new customers, parcel volumes, revenue, and profitability.

Responsibilities and Duties

Own the business responsibility for the group-wide Marketing & Sales Data Product across the customer journey, from campaigns to leads, new customers, revenue, and profitability;
Define, develop, and prioritize the business roadmap in close cooperation with Marketing, Sales, Analytics, and Management;
Develop and harmonize key metrics such as lead conversion, Customer Acquisition Cost, Return on Marketing Investment, and other marketing and sales KPIs;
Work closely with Germany, Austria, and other countries to establish a group-wide standard for marketing and sales data;
Define business requirements, data standards, and data governance guidelines within the data mesh approach;
Support and enable business departments to use the data product and make data-driven decisions.

Requirements

Degree in computer science, business informatics, mathematics, data science, industrial engineering, or a comparable field;
Several years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, Data Product Owner, or similar role;
Strong understanding of marketing, sales, or CRM processes;
Experience working with data products, analytics, or business intelligence solutions;
Knowledge of modern data warehouse and cloud technologies, ideally Snowflake;
Experience with SQL, data modeling, and data quality frameworks;
Ability to translate business requirements into concrete data and reporting solutions;
Strong communication and facilitation skills with different stakeholders;
Structured, independent, and strategic working style;
Experience with agile methods such as Scrum or Kanban;
Very good English skills
