Power Platform Solution Specialist


Job description

We are currently building a centralized Microsoft Power Platform service, with special focus on Power Apps, Power Automate and Dataverse.

We are looking for a Domain and Solution Specialist, to help us ensure overall architecture quality, support in enabling the community using the Power Platform features and support with Best Practices handling the first use cases.

• Solution Architecture: Develop and maintain a holistic architecture vision as representative member in the Hyperautomation Service.
• Business Process Analysis: Translate business needs into technical solutions by leveraging the capabilities.
• Design Oversight: Lead the design of MS Power Platform solutions, ensuring that the same are intuitive, efficient, and effective.
• Integration Strategy: Define integration patterns and strategies for connecting MS Power Platform solutions with other systems, databases, and APIs both within and outside the organization.
• Performance Optimization: Identify bottlenecks, recommend improvements, and implement best practices.
• Technical Guidance: Provide technical guidance to the Citizen Developer Community and the Low-Code DevOps Team, ensuring architectural best practices and adhere to established standards.
• Innovation and Best Practices: Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in the Power Platform and low-code development. Promote best practices and innovative solutions.
• Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including architectural diagrams, best practices models, and integration guides.

To achieve this, the Data Intelligence and Automation Value Center team expects the following competencies to be available from a service provider:
• Advanced knowledge (at least 5 years) in architecture, administration & development in Power Platform (focus in Power Apps, Power Automate & Dataverse);
• Experience working with complex environments;
• Experience in consulting with a value creation mindset;
• Critical thinking, in order to recommend good practices applied to technology;
• Problem solving, action oriented with good organizational skills;
• Expertise in integrating with other technologies (e.g. Snowflake, AWS);
• Advanced communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, especially in a customer-facing role;
• Fluent in business English (speaking and writing).

Also nice to have:
• Agile/Scrum Methodologies experience;
• Background on working with teams and clients distributed across multiple countries and time zones;
• Experience with backend migrations (e.g. from less complex data sources as SharePoint Lists to Dataverse)
