Olympic Core Banking Support Analyst


Job description

We are looking for an Olympic Core Banking Support Analyst, to integrate our client's Wealth Management team, with the following requirements:

NOTE: This is a 100% onsite at the Lisbon office

Part of a banking Wealth Management APS (Application Production Support), the position is created to handle Application Support activities. Candidate will provide support for WM Core Banking Application (Olympic) and related interfaces. He will play a major role in handling Incidents, BAU service requests, end-users queries, and Application Support activities in shifts.                          

Main Tasks

  • Provide L2 Application support to end-users                                    
  • Ensure that unresolved tickets are escalated to appropriate individuals/teams based on established guidelines and procedures                                             
  • Provide a high level of customer services and maintains customer’s trust and confidence by creating positive customer relationships                               
  • Adhere to Service Level objective target and roadmap                                 
  • Maintain / Enrich knowledge articles.     


Technical Skills:

  • AS400 and Unix troubleshooting skills                                  
  • Strong knowledge on SQL queries, data analysis                                             
  • Familiar with Production support tools like ServiceNow and JIRA is a plus                                           
  • Olympic / Midas knowledge  

Qualification & Experience:

  • Total 5+ years of overall IT experience.
  • Total 2+ years of in supporting banking products (Investment Instruments, Corporate Action, Loan, Deposits, Remittance, Foreign Exchange)
  • With good knowledge on general ledger and general accounting schemes of financial products
  • At least 1 to 2 years of experience as first & second-line (L1 and L2 support)
Language Skills:                                                              
  • English - Expert

  • Strong critical thinker with problem solving approach.                                 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills                                          
  • Willingness to continually update and enhance skills                                     
  • High level of persistence, can-do attitude & pro-activeness
