Job description

We are looking for experienced Mendix Developers to join long-term consulting projects with our client. The selected professionals will work on the development and evolution of enterprise applications using the Mendix low-code platform, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in a fully remote environment.

The role focuses on delivering scalable, high-quality solutions with strong integration components, ensuring alignment with business requirements and best development practices.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain applications using Mendix
Translate functional requirements into technical solutions
Design and optimize domain models, microflows, and user interfaces
Integrate applications with REST/SOAP APIs, databases, and external services
Ensure application performance, scalability, and adherence to best practices
Perform testing, debugging, and incident resolution
Produce and maintain technical documentation
Collaborate with technical teams, stakeholders, and potentially end clients

Requirements

Mandatory

Proven experience with Mendix development
Solid knowledge of data modeling and microflows
Experience with API integrations (REST and/or SOAP)
Background in web application development
Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills
Experience working in remote/distributed teams
English level: C1 (mandatory)
Portuguese residency (mandatory)
Minimum of 3 years of professional experience

Nice to Have

Mendix certification (Advanced or Higher)
Experience with Git or other version control systems
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
Knowledge of Java for custom extensions
Basic understanding of UX/UI principles
Previous experience in consulting environments
