Kubernetes Engineer

Job description

We are looking for a Kubernetes Engineer, for a project in Lisbon, typically 2 days per week at the client’s office in Lisbon.

Your responsibilities will be:

Participate in infrastructure automation and modernization projects;
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines;
Create and manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform;
Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure scalable, secure, and resilient solutions;
Contribute to the continuous improvement of DevOps practices and workflows.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field;
At least 2 years of experience in DevOps projects;
Hands-on experience with at least one public cloud provider (preferably AWS; Azure or GCP are also valued);
Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools (especially Terraform);
Solid understanding of automation, scripting, and CI/CD pipeline management.

Nice to Have:

Certifications in a public cloud platform;
Experience with Kubernetes and containerization tools (Docker, Helm, etc.);
Knowledge of networking and security best practices;
Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
