Job description

We are looking for a Junior Project Manager for a hybrid project, 3 days per week on-site, in Lisbon.


About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced specialist consultant to join the team. The ideal candidate is a dynamic professional with strong communication skills, the ability to manage expectations and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.

Main Responsibilities

  • Technical implementation follow-up: act as the specialist point of contact during the integration of services with external clients, analysing functional and technical documentation, monitoring client testing and supporting the resolution of identified errors.
  • Problem Solving and Critical Thinking: analyse tests carried out by clients and flag errors or issues detected based on functional and technical product documentation.
  • Client Project Management: act as the primary point of contact between the client and the internal team to clarify project-related questions, ensuring projects are delivered in line with agreed requirements and aligned with client business objectives.
  • Expectations and Communication Management: develop and maintain clear and effective communication with internal and external clients, managing expectations, resolving issues and providing solutions when needed.
  • Risk and Conflict Management: identify risks and issues in projects, develop mitigation strategies and proactively communicate potential challenges to all relevant stakeholders.


Requirements

Mandatory

  • Communication skills: ability to communicate clearly and effectively with clients and internal teams, managing expectations and handling challenging situations constructively.
  • Experience with Agile and Traditional methodologies: knowledge of project management methodologies such as Waterfall and Agile, adapting to the specific needs of each client and project.
  • Planning and organisation skills: ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a strategic vision and efficient prioritisation.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in the financial and payments sector and/or digital solutions.
  • Experience in technical implementation, systems analysis, support to financial applications and client integration.
  • Knowledge of payment systems from a technological perspective.
  • Microsoft tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Atlassian JIRA / Confluence / Atlas.
  • Proficiency in English and/or Spanish, spoken and written.
