Job description

We’re looking to hire a Java Developer to join our Software Engineering Business Unit. The main goal is to maintain scalable and secure enterprise systems, within an Eupean Instuition.

Requirements

Required Competences:

3 times per week work in the client's office, in Lisbon (Portugal) downtown.
Minimum 7 years of experience in backend development.
Strong experience with Java, WildFly, ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), EJB, Jakarta.
Elastic Search is used for searching the platform, not just for log and error analysis. DevOps is expected in your work, and experience with GitLab pipelines is required.
Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs.
Knowledge of Docker, Redis, MongoDB, and Velocity Framework.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Git version control.
Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Experience with performance tuning and secure coding practices – nice to have.
Degree in IT or equivalent (mandatory) concluded.
English B2 or higher (mandatory).
