Job description

We are looking for a Backend Java Developer to join a long-term project focused on delivering high-quality, customer-centric solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a proactive attitude toward collaboration and continuous improvement.

You will participate in business meetings, contribute to the translation of functional and non-functional requirements into technical solutions, and ensure that the development is aligned with clean code principles and modern backend architecture.

Requirements

Strong experience in backend development using Java (version 8 or higher) and Spring Boot
Solid understanding of microservices architecture
Experience with relational and non-relational databases
Proficiency with GitFlow or similar code branching strategies
Commitment to Clean Code principles and best development practices
Comfortable working with technical documentation in English
Experience in writing and maintaining technical solution documentation
Familiarity with Agile methodologies

Fluency in Portuguese and English (written and spoken)
Ability to participate in business meetings, gather and analyze functional and non-functional requirements
Skilled at translating business needs into technical requirements
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Team player, proactive, and collaborative mindset
