IT User Engagement


Job description

One of our clients, a technology company focused on industry, infrastructure, transport, and health care, is looking for an IT User Engagement to be the first point of contact for all topics concerning standard office solutions.

The candidate will advise the company's specialist departments on all issues relating to the use of standard IT and will thus contribute to the effective use of the company's IT standard platforms and environments (DWP, Office 365, MS-Teams, Adobe).


Candidates must present the following competencies:
  • Drive user engagement topics, for example design, process and improve campaigns, contribute in the german UseIT community, lead and take responsibility for defined topics and ensure a continuous knowledge exchange and increase especially in German language;
  • In close cooperation with different teams, to support central IT projects;
  • Put the internal customer in the center of actions;
  • Good communicative and coordinating skills;
  • A problem solver, always finding the best possible solutions;
  • Enjoy familiarizing with new and complex topics quickly and in depth.

Mandatory requirements:
  • Degree in Communication Design, (Business) Computer Science, (Economics) Engineering, Economics or a comparable education with appropriate qualified further education and relevant professional experience 3+ years in IT projects;
  • Professional experience in the field of IT. Infrastructure or Information Security - either on an operational level or in a consulting role;
  • Profound knowledge in infrastructure technology (client) and application knowhow (e.g. Office 365, Adobe) and have a high affinity to modern technologies (MS-Teams, APP, n.);
  • Very strong intercultural communication to reconcile different interests;
  • Excellent presentation skills, both written and verbal and good negotiation skills;
  • Business-fluent in English and German language (speaking and writing).
  • Drive in getting involved and taking responsibility;
  • Enthusiastic about the world of IT and digitization;
  • Good methods and several years of practical experience in imparting knowledge and knowledge to others than teachers or trainers are required;
  • Ideally, years of practical experience in IT;
  • Knowledge of UX, design and Siemens experience will help get started faster;
  • Sense of initiative, commitment and social competence;
  • Willingness to stay a few weeks in Germany to improve collaboration with the team and to support onsite activities in DI FA locations in Germany.
