Job description

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to join our team in Lisbon on an urgent basis to replace a departing team member.

This role involves managing complex IT infrastructure projects and requires immediate autonomy to take ownership of ongoing projects.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless delivery of high-impact projects for our clients.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

Manage and deliver complex IT infrastructure projects from initiation to closure, ensuring alignment with business objectives, timelines, and budgets.
Coordinate cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure successful project execution.
Apply project management methodologies (primarily Waterfall, with Agile as an advantage) to drive project success.
Provide regular updates on project progress, risks, and mitigation plans to stakeholders.
Ensure effective communication and collaboration with clients and internal teams.
Maintain high standards of project documentation, including plans, schedules, and reports.

Requirements

Mandatory:

Minimum of 2 years of experience managing complex IT projects, with a strong focus on infrastructure.
Proven ability to work autonomously and take immediate ownership of projects with minimal onboarding.
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, primarily Waterfall; experience with Agile methodologies is a plus.
Ability to manage complex projects with non-demanding clients, ensuring high-quality delivery.
Availability to start within 2-3 weeks.
Based in or able to work in Lisbon, Portugal.
Candidate must have substantial experience in managing complex IT projects.

Nice-to-Have

Project management certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, or similar) are not mandatory but will be considered an asset.
