We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product Owner, to integrate our team, in Porto or Lisbon area.

Our client is Portugal’s largest issuer of credit cards, serving over 1 million customers, and will soon operate as a licensed digital bank.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product Owner to join our dynamic product team. You will lead the development of innovative credit products and optimize existing ones, ensuring they deliver value to both customers and stakeholders.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Defining and communicating the product vision aligned with the company’s strategy.
Creating, prioritizing, and managing a detailed product backlog.
Partnering with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing and sales.
Collaborating closely with development teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
Participating actively in agile ceremonies.

Requirements

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a business or technology discipline
Experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role in digital environment
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Clear understanding of the software development life cycle.
Analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex business requirements into actionable tasks.
Proactive and curious.
Organized and goal-oriented.

A star candidate would also have:

Strong understanding of financial services products
Experience in conversion focused digital channels
Background in highly regulated industries, particularly financial services.
CSPO certification.
