IT Learning Manager


Job description

The service to be provided aims to support the learning journey of employees for specific IT applications and systems at our client.
To achieve this, the client expects the following competencies to be available at the service provider:


  • Creation of customized programs for learning and development and follow through on their implementation
  • Production of learning deliverables (manuals, training presentations, online events, FAQ, etc.) in English
  • Adaptation and translation of learning materials - English to German
  • Coordination and production of virtual events
  • Coordinate learning initiatives by planning and tracking tasks, schedules, resources, and dependencies
  • Training and support (not technical) of IT end-users to drive successful adoption of workplace applications and new 
  • Monitoring and reviewing the progress of trainees through questionnaires and discussions
  • Evaluation and update of learning materials and development programs, to adapt to changes occurring in the IT 
  • Collaboration with stakeholders all around the world, across the operating companies and regions, aiming to capture 
    current methodologies and trends, that can be reused and collect feedback and input from and towards the endusers
  • Collaboration with management to identify end-user training needs
  • Oversee and direct masterclasses, webinars, Q&A, and individual guidance sessions
  • Execution of defined operations in accordance with given procedures, and related administrative activities
  • Support ongoing projects related to people development.


  • Great PowerPoint presentation design skills
  • Native-speaker level command of English and German with excellent presentation, writing and translation skills
  • Knowledge and enthusiasm about Microsoft 365 apps
  • Impressive communication and presentation skills
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in a teaching position
  • Good time-keeping skills and the ability to multitask to effectively manage training schedules
  • Understanding of and passion for IT
  • Ability to translate technology into user benefits with user-centric approach
  • Ability to work effectively across a global multicultural and multilingual team
  • Ability to communicate effectively to all IT end-user levels
  • Strategic and out of the box-thinking
  • Curiosity with experimentation and hands-on approach, eager to learn and develop soft skills, easy going and able to relate to and interact with a diverse and global team
  • Team player and proactive, with initiative and the ability to offer new ideas
  • Interpersonal skills that enable you to work with people at all levels of an organization, motivate others, and change people's attitudes when necessary
