GCP Cloud DevOps

• Design and implement scalable and highly available infrastructure on GCP using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
  
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI for automating the build, test, and deployment processes.
  
• Collaborate with development teams to define and implement deployment strategies and best practices.
  
• Ensure the security and compliance of the infrastructure by implementing appropriate security controls and monitoring systems.
  
• Optimize the performance and cost-efficiency of the GCP resources and services.
  
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment-related issues in a timely manner.
  
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and serverless technologies.
  
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members and stakeholders.

Requirements

What are we looking for?

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience as a GCP DevOps Engineer or similar role.
  
• Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services and resources.
  
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, particularly Terraform, for provisioning and managing cloud infrastructure.
  
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI or similar tools.
  
• Solid understanding of DevOps principles and practices, including continuous integration, continuous delivery, and automated testing.
  
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Kubernetes/Docker.
  
• Knowledge of cloud administration and monitoring tools for managing and maintaining GCP resources.
  
• Experience with serverless technologies and architectures.
  
• Ability to script and automate tasks (e.g., Python, Bash).
  
• Motivation and critical thinking skills to identify and solve complex problems.
  
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  
• Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and integrating security into the CI/CD pipelines.
  
• AWS knowledge is a plus
