Experienced Node.js Developer

Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Node.js Developer who loves technology and thrives on building highly performant, resilient, and secure services. In this role, you will help design, build, and maintain mission-critical systems used by thousands of customers and handling millions in transaction revenue monthly. You will work across the full software lifecycle—taking ownership from initial architecture through deployment and production maintenance.

What You Will Do

• End-to-End Ownership: Take complete ownership of features across every phase—from local development through CI/CD pipelines, production deployment, and maintenance.
  

• Cloud Solutions & Architecture: Implement scalable, reliable cloud-based solutions and actively contribute to overall system design and architecture.
  

• Cross-Functional Delivery: Work alongside front-end developers, product managers, and designers to deliver seamless, performant, and secure features.
  

• Testing & Quality: Write clean, testable code and ensure test coverage consistently meets agreed-upon standards.
  

• Production Operations: Diagnose and troubleshoot complex production issues, creating robust and permanent solutions.
  

• Agile Execution: Develop and maintain features within an iterative, collaborative Agile environment.
  

• Documentation: Maintain clear technical and API documentation to facilitate knowledge sharing across engineering teams.
  

Mandatory Requirements

• Core Stack: Advanced proficiency in Node.js, TypeScript, and React.
  

• Cloud Platforms: Hands-on experience architecting and deploying services on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  

• Protocols & Architecture: Deep understanding of modern architectural patterns and protocols, including HTTP, REST, and/or GraphQL.
  

• Version Control: Strong proficiency with Git and Git-based continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) workflows.
  

• Databases: Practical experience designing, querying, and managing both SQL and NoSQL data stores.
  

Additional Qualifications & Desired Experience

• Asynchronous & Distributed Systems: Strong experience building and managing asynchronous, event-driven workflows and message-oriented architectures.
  

• High-Throughput Services: Track record of designing and operating performant, resilient, and secure backend microservices.
  

• Code Quality Tooling: Familiarity with static analysis tools, linters, and strict type-checkers.
  

• Software Design: Strong grasp of service-oriented architectures (SOA), core design patterns, and fundamental data structures.
  

• Methodologies: Experience collaborating within Agile frameworks (Scrum or Kanban).
  

• Third-Party Integrations: Background integrating complex external systems (e.g., eCommerce platforms, payment gateways, ERPs, or warehouse management systems).
