Embedded Software Developer

We are looking for an Embedded Software Developer to join a team responsible for developing innovative 5G All-in-One small cell solutions. The selected professional will work in a hybrid model, with 3 days per week onsite in Aveiro, and will be responsible for the following activities:

Responsibilities:

• Develop software in C/C++ for Linux platforms;
  
• Design and develop embedded software solutions;
  
• Develop and maintain firmware components;
  
• Develop components related to telecommunications networks;
  
• Execute software testing activities;
  
• Participate in the integration and continuous evolution of the developed solutions;
  
• Contribute with a hands-on approach, focused on software development.
  

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in similar roles;
  
• Mandatory knowledge of:
  • C/C++;
    
  • Python;
    
  • Linux and Windows environments;
    
  • Advanced architectures and integration infrastructure;
    
  • Telecommunications networks;
    
  • SSH protocol.
    

Experience with the following tools:

• SonarQube;
  
• Check Point Firewall;
  
• Git;
  
• GitHub Projects;
  
• Kubernetes;
  
• VMware.
  

Knowledge of 4G/5G networks will be considered a plus.

Languages:

• English level: B2;
  
• Portuguese level: C1.
