eCommerce Functional Analyst (Solution Designer)

Job description
We are seeking a skilled and proactive eCommerce Functional Analyst to join our client team. This role focuses on bridging business needs with technical solutions in an eCommerce and omni channel environment. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a customer-centric mindset, and the ability to translate business requirements into actionable deliverables for development and testing teams. Fluency in Portuguese and English, along with experience in Agile methodologies, is essential.
- Accurately capture business needs by analyzing functional and non-functional requirements, prioritizing an exceptional customer experience.
- Translate business requirements into practical solutions for eShop/omnichannel platforms, adopting an end-to-end approach.
- Create user stories from the user’s perspective to guide development.
- Identify blockers, such as dependencies on other teams, to ensure smooth project execution.
- Define acceptance criteria and provide comprehensive context to development and testing teams.
- Address and clarify any questions that arise during the development process.
- Facilitate refinement sessions to align stakeholders and refine requirements.
- Document implemented solutions in Confluence for knowledge sharing and reference.
- Collaborate effectively as a team player, demonstrating proactivity and clear communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
Requirements
Hard Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in functional analysis within an IT context, particularly in journey services, user journeys, and microservices.
- Proven experience in creating functional and technical specifications for backend systems, with a strong ability to bridge business and technical requirements in an eCommerce environment.
- Proficiency in JIRA and Confluence for project management and documentation.
- Comfortable with creating and reviewing documentation in English.
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum.
Soft Skills
- Fluency in Portuguese and English (written and verbal).
- Exceptional ability to capture and analyze business needs with a focus on customer experience.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders.
- Proactive and collaborative approach, thriving in a team-oriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in eCommerce or omnichannel projects.
- Familiarity with end-to-end (e2e) solution design in digital transformation initiatives.
