DevOps / Network Automation Engineers

• Develop Python automation programs and components to generate configuration files to be applied by Ansible modules and roles from the network controller vendor.
  
• Use NetBox as the single source of truth for inventory and desired infrastructure state.
  
• Develop mechanisms to translate changes registered in NetBox into automated configurations in the controller.
  
• Implement data and configuration validations prior to executing changes.
  
• Develop post-execution verification mechanisms using Robot Framework to confirm changes were applied correctly.
  
• Implement configuration drift detection mechanisms between desired and actual infrastructure state.
  
  

• Develop and maintain automation pipelines in GitHub using GitHub Actions.
  
• Implement automated validation, testing and execution processes for network infrastructure changes.
  
• Apply best practices for version control, repository management, pull requests and code review.
  
• Integrate approval and change control mechanisms into deployment processes.
  
• Ensure execution traceability through activity logs, error handling and recovery mechanisms.
  
• Promote Infrastructure as Code principles and quality-oriented development practices.
  

• Develop integrations between NetBox and the network controller and other relevant systems via REST APIs.
  
• Develop modular, reusable, testable and maintainable components.
  
• Ensure data consistency and change validation prior to application.
  
• Collaborate with Network Engineering teams on technical requirements and operational procedure automation.
  

• Support the analysis and resolution of automation and integration issues.
  
• Produce technical documentation and operational procedures.
  
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of implementation, validation and infrastructure operation processes.
  

Requirements

• Experience in Python development, including programs, integrations and structured data processing.
  
• Knowledge of REST APIs and JSON/YAML formats.
  
• Experience with Git and GitHub, including repository management, pull requests and code review.
  
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  
• Knowledge of automated testing and code validation.
  
• Understanding of fundamental Data Center switching concepts.
  
• Analytical ability and capacity to develop reliable, scalable solutions.
  
• Knowledge of tools such as Ansible and libraries such as pytest, Requests or HTTPX.
  
  

• Experience in network automation and integration with infrastructure controllers.
  
• Knowledge of Data Center switching technologies.
  
• Knowledge of VLANs, VRFs, VXLAN/EVPN and routing protocols.
  
• Experience in configuration drift detection, state validation and automatic reconciliation.
  
• Knowledge of solutions such as Cisco APIC, Cisco Nexus or Arista.
