Job description

We are looking for a highly experienced Database Administrator with excellent Performance Tuning skills, to join an interesting multi-project working environment.

What can you expect with us?
  • Analyze and Tune Linux-based mid-to-large DB2 Database instances
  • Maintain and improve the Core datasets, on which the Company relies for daily business
  • Adapt to various existing frameworks, and contribute to the definition of future ones
  • Provide implementations that will be reliable, fast, scalable and responsive
  • Work in multidisciplinary teams along with other talented professionals such as frontend and backend developers, mainframe specialists, technology architects, as well as our operations colleagues;

Requirements

  • Successfully completed technical studies in Computer Science, Business Information Technology or similar experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Administration and Troubleshooting of IBM DB2 LUW database management systems
  • Experience in DB2 LUW integration with Siebel or Cognos
  • Excellent understanding of Linux Administration (SLES, CentOS), Virtualization with VMware (as a user)
  • Operation and integration in High-Performance environments
  • Proficient in Statement/Procedure Optimization
  • Very good knowledge of English and excellent communication skills
