Project context

Service Context

This service covers platform engineering and automation activities within an international, cross-functional technical environment. The service will contribute to the reliability, scalability, and continuous improvement of integration platform operations, with a strong focus on automation, capacity management, and operational excellence.

Modality: Hybrid - 2x per week in person


Goals and deliverables

Scope of Services (but not limited to)


  • Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts to reduce manual operational effort
  • Identify repetitive operational activities and drive automation initiatives to improve efficiency
  • Develop automation solutions using Python, PowerShell, Shell scripting, or platform-specific tools
  • Manage platform capacity and performance to ensure availability, scalability, and optimal resource utilization
  • Design and implement self-healing and auto-remediation solutions for common operational failures
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance platform stability and performance
  • Own platform capacity management, including utilization monitoring, growth forecasting, and capacity planning
  • Identify recurring issues and drive continuous service improvement
  • Support major incidents and service restoration activities
  • Interface between internal and external providers within an international context

Service Deliverables (but not limited to)

  • Automation scripts and solutions for repetitive operational tasks
  • Self-healing and auto-remediation mechanisms for common operational failures
  • Platform capacity reports, including utilization monitoring, growth forecasting, and planning outputs
  • Technical documentation, automation runbooks, and knowledge articles
  • Continuous service improvement recommendations and associated implementation outputs
  • Expertise in transferring deliverables to support team operations


Requirements

Technical Expertise

  •  Mandatory: 5 to 7 years of expertise in MuleSoft platform management (platform operations, not API development)
  • Expertise in MuleSoft Omni Gateway (Flex Gateway)
  • Terraform expertise
  • GitHub expertise
  • OpenShift expertise Authentication & Authorization mechanisms — API security standards and implementation (OAuth, OpenID)
  • AWS — foundational level
  • Azure — foundational level
  • ITIL Process
  • ArgoCD
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Communication Expertise: (Technical information synthesis and communication, multicultural environment, workshop and stakeholder facilitation, influence management…)


Technical Expertise — Nice to Have:

  • XML, XSD, WSDL, WS-*, Java, JSON
  • Network fundamentals: Virtual IPs, firewalls, load balancers, etc.
  • Certificate lifecycle management

Service Qualifications


  • Degree in Computer Science or equivalent relevant field
  • English environment — C1 level (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages)
  • The service operates within professional cross-functional environments, including autonomous delivery when required The service is expected to operate in an international context, alongside internal and external providers
  • Availability to deliver outside of standard operating hours on an occasional basis -Hybrid operating model: minimum 3 days per week on-site / 2 days per week remote
  • Availability for occasional short-term travel or temporary relocation to other countries
