Job description

Data Engineer with 1–3 years of experience in designing and implementing Data & AI solutions.

Remote project with occasional travel to Africa

Requirements

- Skilled in requirements gathering, analysis, and the design of data solutions. Experienced in implementing data warehouses, data lakes, data mesh, and reporting solutions.

- Strong expertise in Microsoft technologies both on-premises (SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS) and in the cloud (Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Power BI).

- Solid understanding of ETL processes, data modeling, and performance optimization, with the ability to support business intelligence and analytics initiatives.

- Proficient in designing use cases and defining acceptance criteria.

- Able to work in close collaboration.

- Cross location teams (be able to work with teams in multiple locations – off-shore).

- Challenging but adaptable mindset (needs to understand that not everything can be changed and needs to adapt to what cannot be changed).

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines.

- Be driven, enthusiastic and dynamic in search of improving processes, controls & procedure.

Other Requirements:
