Job description

We are recruiting an IT Business Analyst for Securities Finance Application.
Responsible for requirements gathering, User Story production and functional testing.
This is a hybrid position, 2x/week at the office.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Write Comprehensive Functional Specifications: Craft detailed functional specifications to guide the development and ensuring alignment with business objectives and user requirements;
  • Drive Testing Efforts: Collaborate closely with the development team to execute thorough testing of new features and enhancements, maintaining a high standard of quality and reliability; and
  • Provide User Training and Ongoing Support: Deliver comprehensive training sessions to users and provide ongoing support to ensure optimal utilization and user satisfaction.


Requirements


Key Requirements:

  • Knowledge of Financial Markets: Strong understanding of financial markets and its basic instruments.
  • Specific knowledge of securities finance is highly valued;
  • Proficiency in PL/SQL: Demonstrated expertise in PL/SQL, namely efficient data retrieval and manipulation;
  • Experience with Agile Methodology: familiarity with Agile principles and practices, including participation in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and sprint reviews to drive continuous improvement and delivery excellence;
  • Fluency in English: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English, enabling effective collaboration with team members, stakeholders, and end-users;
  • Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Proven ability to analyze complex business requirements, identify potential challenges, and propose innovative solutions to address them effectively; and
  • Client-Focused Mindset: A customer-centric approach to understanding user needs and delivering solutions that enhance their experience and drive business value.
