Job description

We are looking for an experienced Apache Kafka to join a technical team working on the operation and evolution of a critical data platform.

What you’ll do:

Administer and evolve the Apache Kafka platform
Work on cluster architecture, including Brokers, KRaft, replication, and min.insync.replicas
Configure and manage Kafka Connect and Schema Registry using Avro / JSON
Implement security controls such as mTLS and ACLs
Tune platform performance, including JVM, retention, and cleanup policies
Manage storage and Persistent Volumes
Support incident resolution and continuous platform improvement

Requirements

What we’re looking for:

Experience in Apache Kafka administration
Strong knowledge of Azure
Fluent in Portuguese and English
Strong problem-solving and technical communication skills

Certifications:

Nice to have

Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Fundamentals
Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
Confluent Certified Administrator for Apache Kafka (CCAAK)
