Job description

We're looking for an Apache Kafka Platform Administrator who wants real ownership of a modern, business-critical streaming platform — not a generalist who touches Kafka occasionally, but a specialist who wants to go deep.

Why this role is worth your attention:

You own the platform end to end. Cluster architecture, brokers, replication, min.insync.replicas — the durability and availability decisions are yours to make.
Modern Kafka, not legacy. We run KRaft (ZooKeeper-free) — the architecture the ecosystem is moving to. You'll work on where Kafka is going, not where it's been.
The full streaming stack. Kafka Connect and Schema Registry with Avro/JSON — real data-integration and schema-governance work, not just topic management.
Security is yours. You'll design and own the platform's security posture — mTLS, ACLs, hardening.
Deep performance engineering. JVM tuning, retention and cleanup policies, storage and Persistent Volumes — the specialist work that actually separates Kafka engineers from everyone else.
High visibility. When the event backbone matters to the business, you're the person they trust.

Requirements

What you bring:

Hands-on Apache Kafka administration experience
Strong Azure knowledge
Fluent Portuguese and English
Sharp troubleshooting and technical communication

Certifications:

Confluent Certified Administrator for Apache Kafka (CCAAK) — highly valued
Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate
