Job description
We are looking for a 2nd Line Help Desk Operator to support the daily operation and management of datacenter systems, focusing on Dell infrastructure, Microsoft virtualization, and Fortinet equipment. The candidate will ensure system availability, performance, and security while assisting the IT team in incident resolution and infrastructure maintenance.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Daily management and operation of Dell datacenter systems.
- Administration and support of Microsoft virtualized environments (Hyper-V/VMware)
- Operation and maintenance of Fortinet devices, including firewalls, switches, and access points.
- Resolution of 2nd line incidents related to IT infrastructure.
- Monitoring system performance and availability, proposing improvements when necessary.
- Support the IT team in implementing changes and system upgrades.
- Document processes, incidents, and resolutions.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Proven experience in 2nd line support / help desk.
- Solid knowledge in managing and operating Dell datacenter systems.
- Experience with Microsoft virtualization (Hyper-V, VMs, resource management).
- Experience operating Fortinet systems (firewalls, switches, APs).
- Strong problem-solving skills and proper incident escalation.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
- Knowledge of monitoring and maintaining critical systems.
Nice-to-Have / Differentiators:
- Microsoft, Dell, or Fortinet certifications.
- Previous experience in corporate datacenter environments.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes and IT operations best practices.
- Contract Duration: 18 to 24 months, with potential extension based on performance and project needs.
